John Good Group makes it easy for our employees to support causes that are close to their hearts through a £500 donation. This one-off grant can be awarded to any small charity, voluntary group or social enterprise that delivers critical work or services.
If an employee does regular work for the charity or project, such as volunteering their time, they can apply for £1,000.
Why do we do this?
Our people are very important to us and Champion Grants are all about employee empowerment. When our team members are given the opportunity to nominate their favourite organisations or projects for a small grant, they become champions of the cause and feel a sense of purpose. The more our employees are engaged in John Good Group’s charitable giving activity, the more we can achieve together.
Thank you to the Matthew Good Foundation, Recycling Unlimited and Dove House for making this possible. It is a great way for me and my family to remember my Grandma and for people that are at Dove House to enjoy in the garden. I am really grateful for the employee giving program as the bench is not something I could have achieved on my own.
