Double match is applied when an employee raises money for a cause through a fundraiser or event. One example is when our CEO, Adam Walsh, took part in a Bridge2Bridge event, which involved riding a bike from the River Severn Bridge to the Humber Bridge in a single day. John Good Group then took the amount raised by Adam and matched it, adding a further £2,000 to his donations.
Why do we do this?
John Good Group greatly admires employees who take time out of their lives to support charities, which is why we take the amount you’ve raised and donate twice as much (up to the amount of £2,000). In other words, for every £1 you raise, we donate £2. As a result, every £1 becomes £3 for the charity.
