We believe that volunteering is great for our employees as well as not-for-profit organisations. That’s why we offer paid time off to volunteer, as it gives charities invaluable support and simultaneously benefits the wellbeing of our team members.

I just love putting something back into our community, be that at Spurn and seeing the difference it makes to the kids. Our volunteering allows me to make up the Christmas parcels for seafarers that we then deliver onboard the vessels, it’s an incredible opportunity for me to get involved and make a difference.

Mike, Ben, Stephanie and Jen all visited the Nursery and spent the day working on cleaning the garden alongside adults with learning difficulties who are going for work experience.

We visited Spurn Point alongside the HEY Children's University. Us volunteering helped the children be able to attend due to the minimum adults needed to help on school trips.

Tim Good and Steve Pullen attended Spurn Point and helped with HEY Children's University for their school trip.

Sarah from Good Travel Management visited the local RSPCA and helped walk some of the dogs in the shelter.

Emma and Alex spend the day at the local RSPCA centre to help clean the kennels and do daily activities with the animals.

DAN Shipping attended the Men in Sheds to help out with garden activities.

The Maritime team helped work on the garden for the patients at the St Andrews Hospice in Grimsby.
