From January 2020, John Good employees can apply for ‘A Day to Make A Difference’

The John Good Group is committed to making a meaningful contribution to the communities where we work and live. We already donate a percentage of profits to the Matthew Good Foundation which distributes funds to causes close to our employees’ hearts, however, for 2020 we’re taking this a step further.

We are delighted to announce that from 1st January 2020, the John Good Group will be donating 100 working days to the Matthew Good Foundation. This means that as well as applying for funds, employees will also be able to apply to the Foundation to take time off (fully paid) to volunteer for good causes.

Employees will be able to apply for up to 2 days per year to volunteer for a charity or cause of their choice, and to make volunteering as easy as possible, we’ve also set up some partnerships throughout the UK that have suitable volunteering opportunities ready to go, at organisations such as Fareshare, the Wildlife Trust and other initiatives local to our office areas
