About the Role

Full time, 37.5 hours per week – part time and flexible working considered

Hybrid with flexibility to travel to Head Office in East Yorkshire, London office and attend client meetings

£45,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependant on experience) plus bonus

We are looking for a Head of Implementation and Online Services to join us in this newly created role here at Good Travel Management team to be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of new business and online booking tools and ensuring the continued growth of the business, delivering seamless onboarding, and quickly establishing the customer as a client for life!     

The role will include:

As the new Head of Implementation and Online Services, the role will involve (not exhaustive):

  • Lead the implementation, supply, and online teams to drive a superior customer experience
  • Manage all phases of client implementation projects from initial internal kick-off meeting, regular implementation meetings, go live and embedding
  • Work closely with sales and operation to understand client requirements and technical specifications
  • Maintain and own the implementation plan including developing automation of tasks
  • Maintain effective communication with the client to ensure expectations are met
  • Deliver training on systems to external stakeholders
  • Ensure a smooth transition to operations and support teams
  • Monitor online activity and offer best practice advice to clients
  • Develop and build on supplier relationships to maximise margins
  • Lead, manage and engage a small team at different stages of their careers
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and changes, making recommendations to improvements where appropriate

About you:

  • Previous demonstratable experience in customer facing client implementation role gained in the corporate travel industry
  • Previous line management experience with the ability to understand how to get the best out of people, empower and enable them to thrive within their roles but also take them on the journey
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding project management and organisational skills, ideally holds PRINCE2
  • Good understanding of corporate travel technical solutions and TMC workflows/processes
  • Analytical and problem-solving attitude
  • Customer service driven
  • Confident to challenge the thinking of internal and external stakeholders in a positive manner
