We are excited to announce a sponsorship agreement with The Wheelchair Football Association for the 2023/24 WFA Cup. This initial one-year deal presents an exciting opportunity to further expand the reach and influence of there national cup competition, building on its growing stature and widespread popularity.
The WFA govern Powerchair Football, a unique sport that provides opportunities for people with a high level of impairment to access the game of football. It is the only active participation sport for people who use electric wheelchairs.
Their involvement in the WFA Cup underlines a shared commitment to promoting inclusivity and excellence. For the 2023/24 season, The WFA Cup will be named the John Good Group WFA Cup, reflecting our new sponsorship agreement with the John Good Group. This partnership coincides with a significant year for the tournament, as we welcome a record-matching 27 teams to the competition.
