Shaped by his hands-on experience within the ports division where he developed his skills across a range of operational, training, and safety roles, Health and Safety has always been a passion of Paul’s.
He began his career as a safety representative and plant, equipment and safety training instructor, before becoming Operations Manager. While working there, he gained his safety qualification, solidifying his enthusiasm and loyalty to creating safer work environments.
Paul has also worked for a manufacturing business, where he was responsible for the health and safety management of all divisions, including production, warehousing, and logistics. There, he achieved his NEBOSH general certificate qualification.
His extensive experiences have created him into a versatile, well-rounded member of the team, who has a practical understanding of workplace safety. His background in the ports industry, warehousing, and logistics, felt like a great fit for the role of Health and Safety Manager. This position was new to the Group, and Paul’s expertise in the field of Health and Safety has become a valuable asset to the entire Group.
Fun Fact: Paul once got a hole in one playing golf!
