  • £35,000-£40,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Plus non contractual bonus of up to 10%
  • Although based in our brand new offices in Quarry House, Hesslewood Office Park, Hessle with the opportunity to work hybrid, as agreed, there may be a requirement on occasion to travel to client meetings.

We’re now looking for an Operations Manager to be the operational backbone of Methods to focus on keeping work flowing, clients connected, and the team focussed on what matters. Typical working hours are 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday to be worked between the hours of 9.00am-5.30pm.  Although this position is advertised as full time we would also welcome applications from candidates preferring part time hours.

The role 

As an Operations Manager, you will own the day-to-day coordination of client programmes, manage the studio schedule and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Liaising with clients to ensure we have everything to hand to deliver and keep the project running on time and on brief.

What you will be doing:

  • Owning the studio schedule and production board, making sure all client work is programmed in with clear deadlines, owners, and priorities.
  • Acting as a regular point of contact for clients, keeping them informed on progress, gathering feedback, and making sure they feel looked after between the bigger strategic conversations.
  • Booking and coordinate client meetings, workshop days, site visits, and reviewing sessions, managing calendars across both the Methods team and clients.
  • Delivering day-to-day operational tasks so the team can focus on strategy, growth, and client leadership.
  • Track live projects from brief through to delivery, making sure timelines hold and that the right people have what they need at each stage.
  • Set the pace and energy in the studio. Be the person who keeps things moving, asks the right questions, and creates a sense of momentum.

About you:

  • Proven experience in a coordination, EA, studio management, or operations role, ideally within a marketing agency, creative studio, or professional services environment.
  • Confident managing multiple projects and competing deadlines without dropping the detail or losing sight of what’s coming next.
  • A natural communicator who builds rapport quickly with both colleagues and clients, and who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and chase what’s needed.
  • Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail. The kind of person who spots what’s been missed before it becomes a problem.
  • Comfortable working at pace in a small, close-knit team where no two days look the same and everyone rolls their sleeves up.
  • Genuine energy and enthusiasm. Methods runs on momentum, and this person needs to match that.
